We are in need of monthly sponsors to help with vet expenses and treatments. Please help us support Harley.

Harley came into rescue after his family of 8 years surrendered him. If that wasn’t bad enough he was surrendered when he needed his family the most. He was one sick boy. We got him to the vet and found out he is in chronic renal failure. He has bladder stones, was sadly overweight and needed a dental really bad. He would not eat for the first 10 days he was in our care. His foster mom went out and bought him all different kinds of dog food and even people food but still he would not eat. Not only was he in bad shape physically but he missed his family.

We got him started on sub-q fluids and finally he started to eat and feeling better. Unfortunately Harley will not never be fully healed. However, with daily fluids he will be able to live a somewhat normal life and be able to play with his foster buddies like any dog should be able to. He is just about the sweetest dog on earth. We were able to get him a dental but the poor guy lost 8 teeth. Harley is doing much better now and with your help we can continue to give this sweetheart the life he deserves for as long as he is with us.

Harley’s requirements consist of:
Subcutaneous Fluids
Special Dietary food
Bi-monthly Blood workup

Please help us support Harley..every donation helps with Harley’s fluid expenses. Thank you!

We are in need of monthly sponsors to help with vet expenses and treatments. Please help us support Cinder.

Meet Cinder! This sweetest ever Shetland Sheepdog was picked up as a stray in Flagler County, Florida in April 2015. Flagler Co. Animal Services shaved her down because her fur was so badly matted. She is very overweight but is slowly slimming down for her health and has lost 7 pounds since April! She might not look like your typical sheltie, but her heart is more beautiful than a show dog covered in diamonds!

Thanks to the Angel who found her and first fostered her; (Annie, God Bless you! ❤️), Cinder joined the Mid Florida Sheltie Rescue family! Our wonderful vet team at Tuskawilla Oaks Animal Hospital diagnosed Cinder with low thyroid and diabetes.

Here’s how YOU can help!

MFSR Is a non profit rescue that barely financially support the day to day intake and placement of these precious shelties throughout Central Florida. The rescue needs extra support to pay for Cinder’s thyroid meds, insulin, syringes, blood testing, and overall continued vetting. The monthly expenses are averaging $200.00.

Cinder is only 5 years old. She’s already developing early onset cataracts. She’s got a big heart, a gentle demeanor, and deserves to live the best life after whatever she went through in her past!

We see Cinder becoming a Cinder-Ella story one day very soon! Please consider helping us help her do just that! Thank you!
